Save the Children has renewed its partnership with Vision Group to provide the Newspapers in Education pullout to children in selected schools. Newspapers in Education improves children's reading and writing skills and educates them on their rights and responsibilities.
Save the children with partners including; UNICEF commemorated the silver jubilee of the enactment of the UN Convention on the rights of the child (CRC) held at the Golf course hotel. The first lady, Janet Museveni, commended Save the children and their local and International partners for protecting the rights of children.
Bundibugyo district recently awarded Save the Children with a certificate of service recognition. The district chairman, Jolly Tibemanya, handed the certificate to Samuel Mukirane, Sub Area Manager Bundibugyo/Ntoroko and Timothy Balikenga, Senior Officer CRG on behalf of SCI.
